Southern California Amateur Championships presented by Friends Of The Late Tom Cox
The main feature of these bouts was the appearance of many former pro Champs as Boxing Referees at this event. Included are: James J. Jeffries, Tommy Ryan, Willie Ritchie, Jack Root, Jess Willard, Al McCoy, Jimmy McLarnin, Fidel LaBarba, Mushy Callahan, Henry Armstrong, Freddie Steele and Ceferino Garcia
