Light Heavyweight Champion and Boxing Hall of Famer from Bridgeport, Connecticut by way of Quebec, Canada. Fought Paul Berlenbach, Jack Sharkey, Jack Renault, Paulino Uzcudun, Johnny Risko, Maxie Rosenbloom, Tommy Loughran, Allentown Joe Gans, Tiger Flowers, Lou Bogash and many others.
